Our Mission

PW-2014-05-19-Cartlidge-laser.jpg

South Texas MS Council is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring awareness in the Rio Grande Valley and to help patients with Multiple Sclerosis improve their quality of life by providing support and resources.

According to the National MS Society, nearly one million people in the United States live with MS. Unfortunately, the number keeps growing annually. At South Texas MS Council, we believe there are many patients in the RGV living with MS and want to bring awareness to as many people as possible. Join us in making new friends and networking with other people living with MS. Together, we can make a difference.

How Has the South Texas MS Council Helped You on Your MS Journey?

Shelby Wilde, 25

STMSC has helped me so much through my journey with MS. Being a part of this amazing group has allowed me to share my story and hear others who have also been diagnosed with MS. I enjoy being able to talk to people who understand what I am going through as well as having support. I am so lucky to have met Lucia and the rest of my STMSC family.
