Lucia Rivera

President

Multiple Sclerosis affects millions of people, including our co-workers, friends, families, and loved ones. My daughter, Lorena, was diagnosed with MS in October 2015. After her diagnosis, our world as we knew it came to an end because this monster, as it's known to us, has taken over our baby's body and we can't fight it because there is no cure. We will not accept the fact that there is no cure.

Do you have Multiple Sclerosis and live in the Rio Grande Valley? We would love to have you as a member of the STMSC. Email Sotxmscouncil@gmail.com to get more information about the organization!

Shelby Wilde, 24

STMSC has helped me so much through my journey with MS. Being a part of this amazing group has allowed me to share my story and hear others who have also been diagnosed with MS. I enjoy being able to talk to people who understand what I am going through as well as having support. I am so lucky to have met Lucia and the rest of my STMSC family.

Donations

The South Texas Multiple Sclerosis Council would not be possible without donations from the community. If you would like to donate to help the organization better the lives of people living with Multiple Sclerosis in the Rio Grande Valley, please click one of the "Donate Now" buttons below.
